Former Mayor of Port-of-Spain, Louis Lee Sing
Former Mayor of Port-of-Spain, Louis Lee Sing is going to contest the Port-of-Spain South seat as an independent candidate.
Lee Sing’s decision comes after he was rejected as by the screening committee last month, as MP for Port-of-Spain South.
Lee Sing spoke with News Power Now this morning.
The former Mayor revealed that he will be going up against Port-of-Spain South incumbent Marlene Mac Donald.

Lee Sing disclosed that none of the major political parties who serve in office deserve support.
He claimed that unfortunately despite this fact, the major political parties are going to emerge with the majority of seats in the Parliament.

Lee Sing stated that Independents in varying constituencies could change the way politics and the way it is conducted overnight.
