There's greatness, and then there's all-time, historic, inarguable greatness. What we witnessed on Saturday night falls into the latter category.
Much in the same way a cat might play with it's food before devouring it, Anderson Silva effectively allowed Stephan Bonnar to throw everything he had at him for four minutes, before deciding it was time to end the games and flooring Bonnar with a hellacious knee to the solar plexus. All in all, it was it was 280 seconds of pure, unadulterated artistry, and just further evidence of why Silva makes the short list of greatest fighters to ever live.
And to no one's surprise, Silva's fellow fighters were just as stunned as the rest of us.
