Stay Active: Martial Arts – GameNTrain

Martial Arts were a huge part of my growth from boy into man. Not only did karate keep me in good shape, but it also taught me to have a clear mind and even temper. This sport is one which comes highly recommended by me this week.

Now days, martial arts, especially MMA (mixed martial arts) has become extremely popular. In my day it was Bruce Lee and Jean Claude Van Damme inspiring me to excel in karate. For the kids these days, the MMA professionals are doing all of the inspiring. However you become motivated to take part in this excellent sport, run with it and get in the game.

Fitness: Martial Arts gives many enthusiasts one to two hours per day of activity into their daily routine. Kicking, punching, sparring, calisthenics, and running are a few of the aspects associated with this excellent sport. An hour or two of this activity will ensure muscle gain, cardio endurance and fat loss.

Focus (mental): Martial arts is know to “center” people, allowing them to see the world through a clear head. Especially for younger kids who struggle with their emotions, karate will help them learn patience, escalation and positive decision making.
