BUT I do know of certain measures that would extract information, that are not life threatening nor physically damaging. So we have to ask what measures would you take, if any and how far would you go? Is there such a thing as ethical torture? I have been reasonable. Not a million lives for the sake of one for example.
What are these measures that will extract information and that are not life threatening nor physically damaging? Why did you equate them with torture if they are not harmful? Why are they not publicly known and why do you speak of these measures to extract information in a manner that implies that they are priviliged information? Whose priviliged information? Again, why not public if so useful and unharmful?
You are obviously gracious, because you did not simply ignore my response when I responded emotionally initially. I don't see you as a monster, but be careful that what you are capable of through training, doesnt cost you more, in the end, by evidencing the systems ability to create a potential monster through trauma. There are many end goals in the practice of torture and trauma.
