Bruce Lee Blakely, 30, of Hornbeach, Tenn. was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was being held at the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $10,500 bond.
Sherry Billheimer Bralley, 28, and Jeremiah Daniel Rowe, 30, both of Kitty Hawk were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and being held in lieu of $10,000 bond a piece.
The name of the motel was not released.
SBI lab chemists were called to process the evidence, and a team from South Carolina took possession of the hazardous materials present.
"I am extremely proud of the way the various law enforcement agencies came together and worked this serious crime," said Dare County Sheriff Doug Doughtie.
"One of the most effective weapons we have against crime is a unified front on the part of law enforcement," Doughtie said.
"We have a close working relationship with the beach police departments, which I feel will have a positive effect on criminal activity in Dare County," Doughtie said. "I thank them for their service and encourage our citizens to contact any of us when they suspect problems in their neighborhoods."
