KITTY HAWK, N.C. (WAVY) - Three people have been charged with manufacturing marijuana after deputies say a meth lab was found inside a motel room in Kitty Hawk Tuesday.

Steve Hoggard, Chief Deputy with the Dare County Sheriff's Office, said the Kitty Hawk Police Department contacted DCSO's Narcotics Unit about a possible sale of methamphetamine on Monday. The next day, officials with several law enforcement agencies conducted surveillance at a motel.

Further investigation revealed a methamphetamine lab inside the room, Hoggard said. At that time, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation processed evidence while a hazardous materials team from South Carolina seized any hazardous materials.

As a result of the investigation, Bruce Lee Blakely, 30, of Tennessee, Sherry Billheimer Bralley, 28 of Kitty Hawk and Jeremiah Daniel Rowe, 30, of Kitty Hawk were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Blakely has also been charged with possession of paraphernalia.

Bralley and Rowe are being held at the Dare County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond while Blakely is being held on a $10,500 bond.
