Like I mentioned previously, the hills and village of Kam Tin caught my eyes from the MTR a few weeks ago and today I randomly decided to do some wandering in that part of New Territories. I made my decision pretty late in the day, so unfortunately it got dark pretty fast. But wow – this is such a nice area, completely with several paths, creeks and even a small town-like-center (pic below). There was even a small market place directly outside of the Kam Sheung Road MTR station! But what got to me most from the short visit were the hills. The photos from my mediocre camera does not do them justice – I have to find out if they are hikeable because damn, I ached to do so today. Kam Tin is a totally best area of New Territories.
