The day Winston Churchill died was one of those,”where were you moments”, like John Lennon, Elvis, Bruce Lee and only a handful of others.
Not many people have reached such an iconic status that halts nations at the time of death and stops everyone in their tracks.
Not many incidents have this effect either. The moon landing, wars, and the freeing of Nelson Mandela did.
On a personal level, personal bereavements close to you always are remembered. Personal achieved goals in your family are also remembered.
However, some events are remembered because they can stop you in your tracks. One such example is a winding up petition on your company.
