I had sent a Fatboy across the pond for replating. I dis-assembled it, and asked that it receive a Black Rhodium plate. Needless to say, it came back GLEAMING! Not a mark on it, well packaged, great job all in all.
I took it to the office, to show it off before reassembling it, and I couldn't wait to get home and get it back together.
Well this night just took a turn downward. My new trophy was going back together flawlessly and then "it" happened. While press fitting the last piece's in, I over did it with the pressure and bent the 
out of it.....
My heart sunk. Do you ever wish you could take back a second or two in time. Well needless to say, I have some beautiful spare parts I might put up on the BST.
